Navigation Half Marathon

The Chelmer Canal Trust regrets that it is necessary to cancel the Half Marathon planned for 8^th May and to give a full refund to participants. We have been unable to recruit the number of marshals needed to be able to deliver the event in a robust enough way and feel that it would be unwise to proceed with the event if we were unable to provide an appropriate and safe experience for participants. Similarly, to date we have received less registrations than we had estimated and we were unlikely to receive sufficient income to cover the significant costs involved. The Chelmer Canal Trust thanks you for your interest and apologises most sincerely for any inconvenience caused.
